Tue, August 4, 2015BEEVERYCREATIVE CEO Steps Down to Launch New 3D Printing Business
If the 3D printing industry has seriously begun to look at the consumer arena, much of the merit goes to Diogo Quental, CEO of BEEVERYCREATIVE. The Portuguese manufacturer was the very first to give its 3D printer a sense of style and an elegant look and Diogo was among?the first to believe in this project and build a solid base to help it grow. Now, after launching 5 new products a few weeks ago, and participating at recent?3D printing events, Diogo is leaving his role as CEO to seek a new personal project. The new CEO at BEEVERYCREATIVE will be Aurora Baptista, one of the founders of?the company.
Aurora?has an academic background in management with different degrees from several Universities. She has more than 30 years of relevant professional experience, mainly at McKinsey, Arthur Andersen, and Deloitte (where she became partner), as well as in other startup businesses. Francisco Mendes and Jorge Pinto, also founders of the company, remain as CIO and CTO respectively.
The management team is now getting ready for several upcoming releases and they are delivering the first helloBEEprusa?and?BEECONNECT to the first pre-sales clients. This is a very special and important step since the helloBEEprusa is the company’s first DIY 3D printer kit, and although, in a way, it is also a recognition that the mass consumer market still is not fully receptive, the machine is attracting the attention of the Maker community, the true 3D printing consumer market. |
